Unveiling the Mystery of GloomyForest - A Prototype Adventure

Hey everyone!

I'm thrilled to share the first glimpse of a passion project that's been stirring my imagination and challenging my creativity: "GloomyForest" (just a temporary name, folks!). This 2D top-down adventure game invites you to explore a forest pulsating with suspense and face off against not-so-friendly creatures that lurk within.

In GloomyForest, your journey is all about exploration and engaging in combat. You can use a nimble "dash" to evade enemy attacks, and a simple yet effective combo move to counter. And that's not all, there's also the promise of intriguing puzzles to solve in future updates!

Right now, the game features a couple of small areas teeming with enemies and, for some reason, a box you can push. It might not seem much yet, but it’s only the beginning of a much larger adventure that awaits you.

Also, a quick note on the graphics - they're a work in progress. The current visuals are placeholders, waiting for the final style to be decided. Any thoughts or suggestions on this front? They're always welcome!

The road ahead for GloomyForest is brimming with opportunities. I plan to continually enhance and diversify the content, shaping the game based on your valuable feedback. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the combat mechanics, the graphics, and the overall gameplay experience.

Just a heads up: there are some known visual bugs and balancing issues with the enemies. Also, the tranquil silence? That's temporary - I'm currently hunting for the perfect soundtrack to enrich your journey. Rest assured, these improvements are on my to-do list.
